Last updates of the release branch of the streams repository brought lots of changes. Most of them only require an update running the
util/udall command, which is done automatically every day if you use the YunoHost package and the release branch.
So why an update of this package? Well first of all, the .htconfig.php file had major changes which can't be made using
util/udall. Also, there is now an option for those who prefer to install their (streams) website without a directory that would populate itself with "friends of friends" (
as shown here).
I'm considering adding a new option that would allow configuring the use of phpmailer in the YunoHost admin section. I'm not sure if I'll do it, as it could also be even better to do something in the phpmailer addon itself so that it could be configured in the (streams) website admin section. But that would be a lot harder for me. We'll see.
So, if you're a (streams) based website administrator who installed it using YunoHost, remember to check the software update section of your server's admin section.
